Dan stated, ” drivers love to go fast and have fun,  just like boating and swimming at the lakes recreational areas. However we have to be safe while having fun participating in those activities. The right safety equipment on the racecar and driver, is just as important as a life jacket while having fun in or on the water. We can have a great time while staying safe either on the track or on the water!”  If you would like to find out more info about water safety and Bobber the Water Safety Dog – please visit www.bobber.info for more exciting info about water safety, fun downloads – cartoons and much more!

8/27/16– Big night for the 41D Team on 2016 Pizza Hut Season Championship Night @ Knoxville Raceway! Dan Would Qualify 12th of 19 cars in Qualifying. And finish 5th of 9 in his heat race. That night Dan would go on to finish 12th of 19 in the A main, also finishing 11th in points and finishing only 90 points out of Rookie of the Year honors in 2016! Not a bad run for the true Sprint Car Rookie (Driver/Owner) in 2016 at the Knoxville Raceway.

8/6/16 – The Goodno Promotion – Quality Traffic Control – J&J Auto Racing – Peterson Technology Services – 41D 305 sprint car was on the move last Saturday night for Arnold Motor Supply 360 / 305 nationals on August 6th.

The 32 year old 305 rookie competitor of Columbia, Iowa started off the night with a 18.54 qualifying time 15th out of 21 cars making time, within 9 one hundreths of a second of quick time! Jeremy Brown and Dan Henning assumed the crewing responsibilities, and couldn‘t be happier with thier results on the night.

Dan would have a better go of it this week in13988154_686572068204996_798804597295501905_o his heat race, finishing 10th of 11 cars, not only that but making moves into 9th momentarily and closing on ith place momentarily. “We just keep inching closer to our competitors, and can’t be happier with our continued progression and progress weekly”, stated Dan.

Slight adjustments where in order for the A main, and as the green flew, Dan would settle in to do work in the 41D machine.

At one point moving around a couple 305 veterans drivers during green flag racing, before caution would bunch the field back up.
At the end Dan would finish a hard fought 12th of 21 cars in the A feature, putting on a good race with fellow competitor Brandon Worthington , and avoiding all the cautions in the feature. Dan couldn’t thank his crew enough for making all the right changes. And Dan’s friends, fans and competitors are quick to note and complement on our continued improvements. Our team can not thank everyone enough for the kind words and we do take note of them!

Our next race is Saturday, August 27th season championship night at the Knoxville Raceway. We will be back there in action, and looking forward to seeing everyone again then!

The Goodno Promotion – Quality Traffic Control – J&J Auto Racing – Peterson Technology Services – 41D 305 sprint car was back in action last Saturday for Titan Machinery night July 9th.

7/9/16 – The 32 year old 305 rookie competitor from Columbia, Iowa started off the night with a 18.159 qualifying time 12th out of 17 cars. Mike Robuck was kind enough to offer his help in the pit area and our team grecrewatly appreciated his involvement along side Jeremy Brown – Phil Knight – Charlie Robuck – Susan Steinbeck and Meg Gist. As always we can not thank the #22 Goodno Promotion team enough, for thier advice, guidance and help along the way.

Things started off with a slight curve, as Dan would lead the field to the green flag in heat race two, climbing the berm slightly on the start opening the door for Cory Kautz in row two.

At the end Dan would finish ahead of Bob Hildreth and Travis Rewerts for a 6th place finish his best heat finish yet of 2016.

More adjustments where made for the A and on the start Chris Skank would make heavy contact with Joe Simbro who took a bad ride right in front of us. Luckily Joe would be ok! We hope things go better for him next week.

As the green flew again, Dan took a conservative start as a car ahead of Dan’s (Kautz) would pull in on the start with a flat right rear tire. After lap one Dan would move back around the 38 of Mike Dapra and held on for his best finish of the season a top 10 in 9th place. The cars handling had greatly improved in the A, Dan couldn’t thank his crew enough for making all the right changes to get him comfortable! Each lap completed equals more confidence behind the wheel! We can not wait to get back there next Saturday night!

Our next race is this coming Saturday, July 16th at the Knoxville Raceway. We will be back there in action! And we look forward to seeing you all again next Saturday night!
